World Series

Is anyone else watching tonight?  You'd sure think a player like Lincecum would know when to run down a guy at third!  How weird was that?

Another example of a ballplayer not having his head in the game.  I doubt he'll ever admit it but it was clear that he thought the bases were loaded before that nubber.  I guess the baserunner deked him.  How else can you explain a runner getting that far down the line on a dribbler back to the pitcher unless he was trying to steal home.  The only reason to call these guys pros is because they make a lot of money.

Re: World Series

Lee has thrown more pitches over the middle third of the plate in this half-inning than he did in his entire last start.

Re: World Series

It would appear Mr. Gibson's record of seven straight post-season wins is safe for at least another year.

Weird.  But he got lucky, and sometimes it is better to be lucky than good.

Re: World Series

I seem to remember saying something earlier that the Giants would probably blow out the Rangers.....9 to 0 in game two.  Even the announcers think the Texas pitchers are losing this one.

Re: World Series

I gave up watching after the 4th consecutive walk in the 8th.  Ron Washington looked like he wanted to "shank" one of his pitchers.

That's why I'm posting here.
