I especially like Harden because he'll have moments during a game: You know, like Tuesday night against Golden State, when Ellis was playing out of his mind, the Warriors were making everything, the crowd was going bonkers with an 11-point lead … and Harden promptly swished consecutive 3s to keep the game from slipping away. (FYI: They ended up winning.) He does that shit all the time. You can go to war with James Harden. Some things transcend stats.
This is really addressed to Artie since Harden is an ASU alum, but I would like be on record for being an early Harden booster. I really thought he would shoot Arizona State over Syracuse in the 2009 tournament. I know you probably don't watch him anymore, but he's a crazy good Sixth Man.

I can't watch an NBA game in its entirety anymore, but I will check in with the Thunder for a quarter or so if they're on. It's mostly because of Harden and Durant, the latter of whom is just a phenomenal player in every respect, and I've developed a liking for Westbrook's game. And I really appreciate what Perkins gives to a team. He doesn't score much, but he brings a toughness that every good team needs from one of its big guys. The Celtics haven't been the same since Ainge made that stupid trade.

He's had that beard since his freshman year at ASU. He's probably one of those kids who went through puberty when he was nine.
