M-I-Z...

Big win today for the Tigers. No small feat beating a good basketball team on its home court. Beat the #3 team in the country on the road and on national TV is huge.

Careful. Someone might get the impression you're a basketball fan.

Re: M-I-Z...

I have a feeling Missouri is going to get votes for No. 1 this week. Hopefully they don't beat out Kentucky. Let Calipari and his bought-and-paid-for stable of lottery picks feel the pressure of defending a No. 1 ranking. Missouri plays in a real conference where you'll get a tough game from everyone except Texas Tech, so I'd prefer them not to have that target on their back.

S-E-C!!!!

Missouri winning the Big 12 tournament, and thousands of Mizzou fans chanting S-E-C on national television was a worst case scenario for the Big 12-2-1+1-1+1.  Not to mention those same fans loudly booing the interim Big 12-2-1+1-1+1 commissioner.

Oh, and to Bill Self and his "Kansas City is a Kansas and Kansas State city."  Go fuck yourself you giant whiny fucking douche bag.

Re: M-I-Z...

Crazy day today, and it helped Mizzou. Mizzou is probably looking at a #2 seed, but they had to avoid the #8 overall ranking and Vacated in the regional final. The other #2s are probably Kansas, Duke and whichever team loses the Big 11 title game, and the committee can't claim Mizzou is the worst of those four teams.
Wouldn't it be a trip if St. Bonaventure's win in the A-10 title game bumps out Arizona?

They did, but somehow still gave Mizzou the easiest of the #1s

Duke got screwed. After they get by Lehigh, they have to beat a pretty good Big East team or an under-seeded A-10 team, and then probably a Baylor team that has five of its seven losses against two of the top five teams in the country. And that's before they even get to a matchup with Vacated in the regional final.
Syracuse is going to have a tough time making it to the Final Four. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't even make it to the second weekend. The East is one of the toughest brackets to pick I've ever seen.
