I seriously heard someone trying to argue that Cust was a good signing for Houston because it was a 2-year deal, and it gave them a DH for when they switch leagues in 2013.

Can't argue with that logic. Hey, here's another idea for Luhnow. Sign every member last year's Little League World Series champions to 15-year contracts, because by the time they're all 27-year-olds, they're going to be a juggernaut in the major leagues.

Ive never been less motivated to watch baseball. Most years I am into it from the start of spring training. I have taped several of the games but delete them before watching. Mostly I have been checking box scores and looking out for injuries. After losing Wainwright last year and now Carp's issue it seems there is more to lose then gain in ST. Im ready for the games to count.
