Boggs is still maddeningly inconsistent. I don't know if Matheney is going to divide the bullpen into "guys we use when we have the lead" and "guys we use when we're behind" the way LaRussa did, but Boggs belongs in the latter category.

Boggs is going to be the de facto guy simply because they have nobody else who can do it any better. I certainly don't trust Marte or McClellan, and Sanchez has me worried in Memphis.
Mozeliak better be placing calls for middle relief.

If the biggest problem all year is Boggs giving up the occasional solo homer when the Cardinals are ahead by seven runs, I can live with that.
