Ahh, this is why they kept Komatsu, so he could bunt in the fucking air.

Don't we already have one guy on the roster who thrived in the minors but can't produce at the major leagye level? Is it really necessary to take one from someone else's organization?

Nice fucking at bat Holliday.

The Reds are going to get out of it. Son of a bitch.

Yowza. Holliday and Berkman get meaty pitches and proceed to pop them into the infield.
Not our night, boys.

Which esteemed batsman will pop up into the field in the 10th?

Nice job, Freese.
Double play to come.

Not much of a role, is it?

Yup, the Cardinals still cannot bunt. This reminds of a play the Rams used repeatedly with Cadillac Williams last season that usually ended in a loss of five yards or a fumble. Probably time to dump it from your playbook.

Steal the base, then bunt. Mesoraco couldn't throw out my wife. And my wife has no wheels.

Let me guess, we lose this game on an error by Tyler Greene, don't we?

Yeah, but first he gets thrown out trying to tag up.

I can't believe they're going to blow it twice.

Pinch hitting a lefty against a lefty. Larussa just broke out into hives and cold sweats

Never mind, someone knows how to put the ball in the air.
Hey, anyone notice that the Cardinals aren't celebrating like they just won the World Series? Take notes, Cincinnati.

No way Carpenter goes back to the minors. No fucking way.

Hell, I practically fainted.

I'm not surprised Cincinnati lost tonight. I don't think the champagne has dried from that huge walk-off win last week to take one out of three.

I'm glad EI cut out before I got to see that nonsense. I'd hate TTTIB more than I already do.
Do the Cardinals get Latos in this series? He'd better get going if he's going to finish with a 23-1 record.
Offline
Latos goes tomorrow against Jaime.
I would love to hear Dusty's explanation for why he didn't use Chapman instead of Bray after Molina bunted. With Jay and Descalso on deck, isn't that exactly when Chapman should be in the game. The Reds were off yesterday too, weren't they?
Maybe he's saving Chapman for day games.

I imagine Jocketty said the same thing. Perhaps a little more colorfully?

It just showed the contrast between the two teams. When the Cardinals win they are excited, but act professional because they know it's the 11th freaking game of the season and there's a lot of work to be done. TTTIB, on the other hand, treats it like a momentous occasion. I think that comes from having an immature, idiotic manager that preoccupies himself with minute bullshit and settling scores.
If nobody can tell, I cannot stand Dusty Baker and I hate the Reds.

Tomorrow against Garcia.
