On the old Yahoo board, Redsfan is lamenting the fact they had to play a game in cold weather in Chicago yesterday and complaining that the season should start later and go back to the "old days" of the 152 games schedule. LMAO!!!!
I'm tempted to remind those dolts that the old schedule was 154 games and further point out that knocking 8 games off the schedule wouldn't help avoid games in late April, but I'm having too much fun reading the stupid posts.

kemgames, no doubt. he's the i-remember-the-good-old-days contributor to that board who has a problem with facts. i kind of envision him sitting around in his wood-paneled den watching the game on a black-and-white TV (because you can't trust these newfangled color TVs from china), telling his grandchildren about edd roush and how the 1919 reds were so good they would have won the world series even if the red sox hadn't lost it on purpose.
