Honestly Skip hasnt hurt matters either. At the moment it doesnt bug me that he has found his way back to second. Descalso and Greene cant hit.

Had Roenicke gone to his bench there's a good chance Milwaukee pulls ahead. I have no idea why Lohse was dicking around with George Kottaras.

i assumed the plan was to walk gonzalez and go after kottaras. he just missed. badly. lohse is usually around the plate. four walks is a month for him.

He just didn't have it today, which is fine. The Brewers can still hit. The problem with Lohse is that he always has that one inning where things just go to absolute shit. Fate gave the Cardinals this game after the bullshit that transpired in Wrigley.

Dont know if you guys saw this Nationals game on MLB network tonight, but if you didnt, check out Bryce Harper when you get a chance. That kid's been hyped way up, but I think its legitimate, he looks like a player to me. 19 years old, wouldnt mind having his future.
last night was the first time i've seen the kid play, but i've always felt there's been a poseur quality to him. like alex rodriguez.
and matt kemp is a terrific player, but i'm getting a little tired of his act, too. what was up with him hopping down the third base line last night? it was either some kind or rodeo move, or he was trying to start a lawn mower.
