that shorthanded goal kopitar scored last night was phenomenal. the kings are just playing crazy good hockey in the playoffs.
The shorthanded goal last night was Uh-oh Collaiacavo coughing up another puck while being the last man back. Did it twice, but we only let one in.
The guy doesn't make a ton of mistakes, but when he does, they are fatal...
Fors, I'm not sold on LA being better yet, meaning I don't think we're out. I do think that we need to get our hands dirty and start hitting everything that moves.
Game three is pretty much the season, if they win that, then Game four will be in the same catagory. Let's see what happens in LA, I don't like our chances, but I'm not ruling them out just yet.

the turnover was brutal, but the move to put the puck in the net was brilliant.

I know, the move was amazing, but he should have never had the puck because they guy who passed it to him should have never taken Collaiacavo's pass away.
Its not the first time, Carlo is averaging about 1 of these a game lately, and he needs a kick in the ass.

Anyone here watching Game 3 of NYR/Wash? Headed to 3OT and these poor bastards look like they're pulling sleds when they skate. There are some tired legs in those locker rooms.

can you imagine playing 100-plus minutes of playoff hockey?

Tortorella isnt a very smart coach. Why was Marion Gaborik on the ice in triple OT? Shouldn't Tortorella have been waiting for some 3rd or 4th line checker to win the game?
Hunter is an idiot.

Curious how they keep the ice fresh over 100 minutes of hockey.. the zamboni sprays water on the ice which takes little time to freeze, making the ice clean again, but it doesn't really add to the ice level I didn't think. Wouldn't you think 100 minutes of people skating and digging into it cause issues?

they apparently 're-condition' the ice at the first stoppage after the 10-minute mark of each ot period, but i don't know what that consists of because every time they were supposedly working on the ice last night, versus showed tortarella bitching about play being stopped.

All that means is they bring a bunch of kids (or in some places attractive women) out to clear the ice shavings that are lying on top of the ice.

well, that should about take care of our season. All that's left is for the coup de grace...
Jesus. Well Good season Blues, try to win one just to win one Sunday!

So who had LA/Pho in the Western Conference finals? So much for the Central Division dominance.

Don't know if it's too soon for you guys, but this is really well done:

I noticed that but quickly decided it was tongue-in-cheek.

I considered that possibility, except the writer is from San Jose. Why would anyone bother to live inland in California? You might as well be living in Nebraska.

Good point. And Nebraska's a much larger city.

I think Associated Press mistakenly put a 2 in front of the 3 when they cited this person's age.
