Pujols currently sitting on 0 HR's and 5 RBIs
Beltran beat both of those season marks yesterday (2 HRs, 7 RBIs)We could start a whole thread about things that have happen more times then Pujols has homered. Beltran is only one of 131 players with more HRs then Pujols. Hell the US army has killed Osama Bin Laden more times then Pujols has homered in 2012.
Not true.
It was the Navy that got Bin Laden. (grin) (grin) (grin)

It's not just the HR's, mostly it's the telling (or chilling if you're an Angels fan) tale that on May 2nd, with no injuries involved, Albert Pujols season RBI total can be eclipsed in a singe game.

I still think he is going to snap out of it to some degree. It is hard to believe that someone who was over the last couple of years the "face" of MLB has crashed so hard. I dont see him staying on pace to hit 30 RBIs in 2012. Still, like most I am sitting back and wondering whats going on.

While Albert was going 1 for 5 (.208) Weaver was pitching a No-hitter ......
weaver's wife is attractive enough, but did you see his trashy parents? dad looks like he could be dog the bounty hunter's stunt double, and mom ... well, let's just say it's easy to tell who jeff and jered got their looks from.

Angels vs. Blue Jays

If any of you guys are in Anaheim on Saturday, there's a Cinco de Mayo Rally Monkey giveaway at the Big A.

I wonder what Pujol$ and Gump chatted about at first base ....

Three groundouts to the left side, though two were hard hit.

Techniques of hitting ?

The story of this one was Brandon Morrow. The last pitch he threw was a 94 mph fastball. He was more dominant tonight than Weaver was last night.

I hope Albert took notes. Rasmus' batting average is 23 points higher.

I don't suppose Max will be coming back anytime soon to tell us this is Dewitt's fault because Pujol$ would have hit better had Dewitt not embarrassed him into leaving the Cardinals.
Offline
One more poor hitting day and Pujols will drop below .200.

This doesn't really fit into the Pujol$ thread, but on the topic of former Cardinals, I saw these stats the other day
Cornholio (a/k/a Brendan Ryan)- .125 (8 for 64), 1 HR, 4 RBI, 21 K, 0 SB. He's presently 0 for his last 26.
He better cover the entire area from 2nd base to 3rd base, including the first 15-20 feet of the outfield grass to justify that level of suck.

Are you suugesting we ought to establish an "Ex-Cardinals Who Suck" thread?
We could entitle it the AAAron Miles Hall of Shame.

If you're a position player and your average is below the total value, in millions, of your current contract, you should be required to pay back the difference.

Well, at least we know what happened to that statue outside his restaurant. It makes a plate appearance in Anaheim every third inning.

Definitely some boos after another feckless at bat drops him to .194.
