No J.D. tonight. He's at a graduation ceremony. So Steve Sparks is filling in. Sparks couldn't watch much of last night's game because he was the "referee" at his 13-year-old daughter's birthday party. I feel so much more enlightened now that I know all this.

And I loathe this ballpark. Lowrie hits a popup that's an easy out in 28 ballparks and it finds the front row in those stupid seats that are abiut 195 feet away from home plate.

My thinking on that is ; why isn't our team getting in on some of those cheapies , I'm pretty sure we have some folks that can get us some of those watered-down jobs ...and I think , not sure though, that we are a better team than they are .
