They've given up on the game. They found a young couple in the stands holding a sign that reads "First Date" and it's morphed into a discussion and now a text poll question about whether there will be a second date. I'm not making this shit up.

It's 70 percent yes right now.

Red Sox fans had to love him for honoring Ruth.  I didn't remember that part of it.

BTW, the prattling on the St. Louis broadcast isn't much better.  Horton just spent 2 minutes telling how Skippy has been getting more playing time at 2nd base because of the struggles of Descalso and Greene and because he knows how to play the game the right way.  And even though the Cardinals lead by 6 runs, they could use an extra run and if there's anyone you want at the plate, it's Skip because he knows how to play the game the right way.  There's always a place in baseball for guys like Skip who play the game the right way. 

The subject changed rather quickly after Skippy struck out and failed to advance the runner.

On the Arizona feed, you picking up the broad screaming like she's being anally attacked by Ron Jeremy?  WTF was that?
