I'm watching the MBLN broadcast, with the camera angle from the third base side. For anyone watching FSMW, are some of the pitches that are being called balls in the strike zone?

The Bad Westbrook has returned ... nibble the corners ... fall behind in the count ... forced to come in with pitches down the middle.

They ought to be able to get to Blanton. But they're going to have a hard time shutting out the Phillies for the next eight innings.

I thought Adams could have gotten rid of the ball a little quicker, but getting Victorino would have been a tough chore .....neither is getting the low strike ..

If I were a right-handed pitcher, I'd never throw David Freese anything but a slider away.

...now he makes a nice play in the field, could used a run there at least ...

I thought so too. About Adams. It's a tight zone, which is bad for Westbrook.

The plate ump is the guy Yadi went crazy on last year in Milwaukee. Westbrook ain't getting nuthin' tonight.

How does Carlos Ruiz score from first on a ball that doesn't go to the wall?

It's my second favorite Who-the-hell-was-that? play in Cardinals' history, after Tom Lawless' home run in the '87 WS.

Yes, I remember the Lawless HR...... Jaw dropping

Freese error score , dammit ....

Well now , that was well struck .......

I think I've only ever seen one other person hit the ball over the bullpen. That Pujols guy.
