I would consider Westbrook, but wishing to unload Lohse . Not fools would take that contract .

I can't imagine passing on Westbrook if the price were right, but I'm virtually certain it isn't unless the Mets would like to pick up the rest of Lohse's contract as some sort of continuation of the Roger Cedeno arrangement.

Not only do you have to find a fool to take the contract, but Lohse has to agree to go. They gave him full no-trade protection.
Maybe they could tell Lohse that he is going to have permanently assigned seat next to Ryan on all chartered flights.
