Is it me, or do the Cardinals never miss his spot in the rotation?

It isnt just you Artie. He has thrown 11 games against the Cards. 70 innings pitches, 7-2 record and 2.17 ERA. The closest teams to that is the Brewers and Pirates with 9 games and 50 some innings with less impressive results of course.

What is a "sausage dog?" Is that a Texas thing?

That called strike to DD never crossed the plate. Awful

I wish Matheny would move on to trying to set up the hidden ball trick or something. The double steal thing doesnt work in the MLB.

"The double steal thing doesnt work in the MLB."
Or high school. I think that one is on Freese. It looked like all Yadi was trying to do was move up a base and Freese was fooled by the fake throw.

Who's behind the plate tonight? Brownie has been too busy cackling at J.D.'s jokes to give that kind of information so far.

If the Astros call up another guy with the same last name as J.D. and Fernando, and they all go out together to eat in the early afternoon, would you call it a three Martinez lunch?
I'm here all week. Try the veal.

The Astros' announcers finally identified the plate umpire as Angel Hernandez. That explains it.

Hernandez is clueless ...

Looks like Bud has "settled" in, hope Wainwright can hold 'em off ....

Ten strikeouts through five for Norris. That's ridiculous.

How has someone in publishing in St. Louis NOT assigned a reporter to do a story on Bud Norris? He's every Cardinals fan's nightmare, and now the little jerk is getting base hits. I hate him and I hate the Astros.

That's the Norris I thought we'd see from the get go.....

Not sure what the hell Matheny is waiting for.

Got to have more runs , cause Houston's not done with this BP..........

Al said in MLB yearly review that Hernandez was the best.

Speaking of J.D. I was reading a story today saying that the D=Backs GM was accusing Stephen Drew of babying his injury to insure a higher market value.
