Re: 6/14/2012 GC

Take the guy who's almost single-handedly responsible for the Cardinals' offense in the past four games and plant his arse on the bench. Good strategy.

Beltran was in the ER last night with gut rot.

Re: 6/14/2012 GC

It would be nice to see them grab this game.  Other then the playing the Tigers away the schedule over the next could week is pretty easy.  It would be a good time to play catch-up.

To paraphrase the great Lou Brown: If the Cardinals win tomorrow, that's called a winning streak. It has happened before.

Tell him to rub some dirt on it and get out there.

The Ben & Jerry's probably has something to do with it. I'm willing to take one for the team and eat ice cream every day until the Cardinals lose again. But that's me. Mr. Selfless.

For the most part I've given up stuff like that. My lunches and dinners are mostly chicken, rice and vegetables, and my dessert is a small bowl of cereal or fruit.

I have been doing better but I am not the type of person that can go on a diet of chicken and rice.  I can cut out sweets pretty easy though.  I rather have to workout for an extra hour then eat a steady diet not involving red meat and carbs.  I have limited soda alot recently.  That stuff is the devil.

I've probably dropped 15-20 pounds since my surgery. I was taking pain-killers for about a month, and pain-killers and beer don't mix. Or I should say they don't mix well. Unless you like arguing with inanimate objects.
