I suppose you do what you have to when it's 10-1 in the second inning, but the Royals' broadcast is showing highlights from the celebrity wiffle ball game. Except the only celebs I recognize are Paul Rudd and Jason Sudekis (sp?), the pudgy guy from SNL who ruins every movie he's in.

Maybe this is what gets this team going again.

Don't under stand booing Beltran.
"Let's razz the guy the Royals had to trade because the team couldn't afford him because only 8,000 of us were showing up to games ..."

Hulder just said: "Sanchez threw back-to-back pitches."
It's that kind of penetrating analysis you can only get from a former major leaguer.

It isn't much better on the Cardinal broadcast. FSM just showed a star that the Cardinals are something like 1085-50 when scoring 11 or more runs. Al is fascinated by the fact the franchise has lost 50 games while scoring that much. This is what happens in 11-3 games.
This just in, Tyler Greene is not a major league caliber defensive player.

Well, you know the old agade. You put up 11, you expect to win.
Good to see Kelly get on the board with his first W. Though I have to admit my leg got all kinds of Chris Matthews tingly when I saw clips of Chris Carpenter throwing from the mound today.
