Don't look now...

...but a former Cardinal has suddenly found his stroke.

No, not Anaheim's new first baseman.  None other than our old friend Corby.

Up to the minute stats, Corby is hitting .267 and he just hit his 14th HR of the season.  He now has 44 RBI.  That gives him a higher average, more HR and as many RBI as the Cardinals former first baseman.

He started hitting when the Blue Jays had his father deported.

Certainly wouldn't have happened playing for TLR.  We got our world series, so no regrets.

I think even after TLR left Rasmus was ruined for the Cardinals.  To much had happend.  To much had been said and he was to close to home.  Rasmus just seems like the kind of guy that would do better in a low key baseball city.  St. Louis isnt that.
