That's what I was thinking. He'll need to be considerably more efficient the rest of the way. But at least he got out of it.

Holliday just keeps coming through .
....and did the team that invented baseball approve of the Freese selection ?

Lynn can't throw a strike with anything but his fastball.

I've been getting into it with the Greene Fan Club at VEB tonight. Suffice to say they are NOT happy and there are complaints that he's not being given a fair shake.

Lynn seems to have settled in.
No help so far from the AAAstros tonight. Karstens made them look foolish for eight innings.

I remember Mags saying the same about John Gall and Scott Seabol.

I'm not sure his mother can even say that.

I wouldn't have guessed Lynn would go 6 scoreless. Let's close this out. Nothing to be embarrassed about if he can take 11 wins to KC.

Browning can't break a window pane, but he throws strikes and nothing fat .....
Probably hexed him for life ....

Barret Browning adding to his legend.
TTTIB leads, 1-0, in the top of the second. Edinson Volquez being Edinson Volquez. It's taken him 50 pitches to get five outs.

Is it just me or do the Cards seem to make at least one opposing player each series look like a Hall of Famer? Tyler Colvin???

Big win. Tough to ever assume you can sweep a 4 game series, but they had to do better than a split.
