Cueto is throwing for Cincinnati. Apparently the blisters healed up on her finger.

Remarkable recovery. He's all guts.
Trevor Bauer doing a decent Nuke LaLoosh impersonation. He's thrown 37 pitches on the bottom of the third so far - one that went 45 feet and bounced in the grass in front of the plate, another that hit the backstop on the fly, another that hit the plate umpire, and another Luwick hit into the upper deck.
Reds 4, Arizuna 0

Get up, Holliday. Randy Wolf doesn't throw hard enough to hurt you.

Freese not being able to get the ball out of his glove for a sure DP, cost us a run...

There's a guy sitting about three rows behind the Cardinals' dugout wearing a striped tank top. Who wears a striped tank top?

This might be the worst defensive team I've ever seen the Cardinals put on the field.

The Great American Launching Pad is about half full tonight with folks from Cincinnati, that great baseball city.

Randy Wolf sucks out loud. Why is there not a run on the board yet?

He's still throwing as hard as he did last season, but suddenly his command is terrible and he's giving up home runs left and right after giving up two all of last season.
Wolf just threw a 57 mph curve. 57 mph.

There you go.

How many chances does Tyler Greene get? Ryan Jackson has to be ready.

"Wolf just threw a 57 mph curve. 57 mph."
The women in my co-ed softball league throw harder than that.

That last at bat sums up Greene's career - a foul ball into the upper deck followed by a weak swing on a pitch a foot out of the strike zone that results in a harmless groundout.

VEB was making excuses for him the other day that the reason he has not gotten a hit in like four months is because Matheny won't play him.

Maybe Matheny won't play him because he hasn't gotten a hit in four months.

Is it me, or is Carlos Gomez under the impression he's the second coming of Willie Mays?

I hate the little bastard so much.

Look at all the blubber sitting in the front row behind the plate. Those people can't even sit without folding their arms.
Let this be a lesson that one's diet shouldn't consist of fried cheese balls covered with cheese sauce.

And yet he's still less annoying than Nyjer Morgan.

Good job, Tyler.

The Cardinals could use a right-handed hitting second baseman. Is Rick Ankiel available?

Jenny Cueto just struck out Gerardo Parra with the bases loaded in the 6th inning and raised his arms like the Reds won the pennant.
