Nice pick Carpenter..

Shannon just jinxed the Cardinals by saying Kemp hasn't done much in the series so far.

This would be a nice win for the Cards. It sucks that they have put a nice run together and have yet to gain ground. They got to keep it up.

Westbrook painting some black....

I would, too.
A couple of VEBers were complaining about Greene not making today's lineup. Poor Tyler.

The Cardinals are batting .400 today

I hope it is Loshe if they resign someone but that would suprise me because Westbrook will cost less and has an option.
This lineup is interesting with all the lefties in it but there isnt many other options.

A little timely hitting here .....

I think AP was saying that he would NOT rule out the Cardinals resigning either Lohse or Westbrook

Holliday with a bomb...

Why do you lift Freese who's 3-3? Is he hurt?

Oh. Well, that's disappointing.

Every game this month Cardinals starters have gone at least six innings. BJ Rains says it's the first time since 2004. Team ERA of 2.26.
And if this holds they'll only be 13-8.

Base hit for Tyler Greene. I can hear the orgasms coming from VEB through my monitor.

Not sure why Matheny went back to Boggs after two innings last night. He must not have any faith in Rosenthal.

Boggs only pitched 1 inning last night.
John Rooney just said that Boggs has an 18 appearance scoreless streak covering 14 2/3 innings.

Oh that's right. Motte pitched two innings.
A 6-1 home stand is great, but it hurts only gaining a half game.
