    It's almost ridiculous that San Diego is allowed to compete in MLB games. I feel like these should be unsanctioned.

    Cueto is apparently the only baseball player who sweats. Brantley just said she hung a curveball to Maybin because she can't get a good grip on the ball.
    I wonder if the Reds' trainer has a set of dress shields in his bag?

    Ricky Horton just commented on Cincinnati's offensive outburst against the Padres like it was a great achievement. Someone should tell him it was off Ross Ohlendorf.

    Yeah, I don't like this either. Lynn hasn't missed a bat yet, and Alex White looks like Kevin Brown.

    Worthy attempt, but Jon Jay is one of the worst bunters I've ever seen.

    Just a thought, but I think Jon Jay is in the last two months of his tenure as starting center fielder for the St. Louis Cardinals.

    He had a sharp single in his first at bat. I'd rather see him swing away there. And you're right. He's not a good bunter, and he's not going to beat out a bad bunt.

    Let's get the bats going here. The last team Alex White shut out for six innings was probably Wake Forest.
