8/4 Gamecrap

So ... Chapman hits McCutchen with a 100 mph fastball last night
McKenry hits a homer off Leake tonight
Leake plunks Harrison on the thigh, Harrison stares out at Leake, Leake walks toward Harrison
The umpires warn both benches, and Hurdle gets tossed
Brennaman and idiot sidekick blame Harrison

Re: 8/4 Gamecrap

Surely in the right situation later in the game Hurdle has a reliever in mind to settle up . At least I hope he does ...

I'm at the game and there's a half row full of Brewers fans. They gave Ozzie a standing ovation.

Pretty classy for a Brewers fan.

Re: 8/4 Gamecrap

Well, we won the series. Let's start Robinson, Cruz, Greene and Carpenter tomorrow.

That was easy. Boy, the Brewers stink.

IDK what would be best to do and I understand your sacrasm.  There are nine games on the schedule against the Pirates and Reds before the month is over.  I am not worried about Craig or Freese at this point but Molina needs, correction has to stay healthy and Beltran to.  IMO, Delscalso and Skip should get most the time at second.  I know it isnt normal but Matheny has done it alot and that is Carpenter starting against lefties.  I would do that more either by putting him in right or second.

Re: 8/4 Gamecrap

Scal is hitting .339 against lefties and .220 against righties. Far fewer at bats, but for some reason he seems to hit lefties better. There's no reason for Tyler Greene to be on the team anymore.

Indeed I was.

Don, I wasn't close enough to spit on Nyjer, but I was close enough to watch Ryan Braun. How can I phrase this in a nice way...Ryan Braun...plays like a middle school girl. The way he throws is just girly. The way he stands in left field and chews on his nails is girly. Everything about him is just very feminine, except the way he swings the bat.

Descalso has really turned it on defensively. There's no reason for him to sit again. Sorry, Skip.
