I wonder what flipped the front offices trigger. Maybe it was his comments. They could have gave him away along time ago.

I suspect you hit the nail on the head AP. You can get away with a lot, but criticizing the "best fans in baseball" is pretty much a capital offense.

They've played a lot with only 24 players. However, on other days there were 25 men in uniform eligible to take the field.
