Re: 8/16 GC vs. D-Backs

Cruz is 8 for 26 in the last 7 games he has started.  He doesnt have near the same effect on games that Molina has had but as long as he his hitting alittle there is no reason to rush Molina back.  Backs dont just get better.

Re: 8/16 GC vs. D-Backs

Harvey sets down the first 12 he faces, drills Ludwick with an off-speed pitch to open the fifth and Ludwick stares out at the mound like he's been hit on purpose. The Reds have even turned Ryan Ludwick into a jerk.

He at least has the excuse of being basically held together with baling wire and Topps bubble gum.

Speaking of being held together by bubble gum, Rolen just made an error because he couldn't bend down and pick up a ground ball.

Re: 8/16 GC vs. D-Backs

Does it only SEEM as though Lohse gets little run support? I realize he tends to match up with the other team's ace this year, but that ain't Cahill.

Re: 8/16 GC vs. D-Backs

No idea why Craig is still standing on first base after a seeing eye single to left and a throw to the plate that bounces away from the catcher.

Re: 8/16 GC vs. D-Backs

It's about time for the Lohse brain cramp and the resulting 2-run homer ...

Re: 8/16 GC vs. D-Backs

Whew. Two pitches that easily could have ended up in the seats.
