Jake throws 'em a run ....

Pretty horrid start to this game. I don't know how in the world Holliday two-hopped a throw that was 200 feet from home plate. Embarrassing.

No excuse for Freese not making that play.

Rome must still be burning , we're definitely fiddling ....

The only way this guy doesn't get clobbered is if the Cardinals expand the strike zone. Which is exactly what they've done so far.

He's had 10 starts. Four times he's struck out more than he's walked. Given this lackluster approach and the terrible defense, I'd say it's a typical Cardinals game.

Another words , runners in scoring position

Tough error for Wallace. That's an out if he's not throwing to an economy size second baseman.

A Hector Ambriz sighting!?! I thought he was in the witness protection program.

Then the economy size second baseman had no one to throw to..

Hey, Westbrook's in line for a win.
Cue discussion as to the importance of a starting pitcher's win totals. (grin)

I defended Barret Browning when he came up, but he's not a major league pitcher. If the Cardinals think they can get away with this, they're nuts.

I think, not sure that this is the first time Mujica has been used before the 7th .

Smart call by Matheny. The game was in the balance there. No purpose saving Mujica for the 7th if you can't take a lead to the 7th.
Be nice if the Cardinals could add a couple and make the last 9 outs a little less tense.

I'm not sure I've ever seen a worse major league team.

I almost miss that. Almost.
