Apparently Mizzou is starting its backup QB. I guess Franklin's shoulder took a beating in the Georgia game.

Well that's a bummer. From ASU's perspective, it's about the quarterback tonight. Kelly has looked very good, albeit at home, against one lousy team and one mediocre team. He's a departure from Erickson's big-armed, big play QBs, but conversely he hasn't made a lot of mistakes.

That was a somewhat unexpected first half. Mizzou's defense looked great--until they decided to let ASU walk right down the field.
And it's pretty obvious that Missouri is terrified of letting Berkstresser do anything. I doubt Franklin survives the season. At some point they need to stop playing not to lose.

24-14 Mizzou, early 4th quarter. I'm making a prediction. Mizzou won't win with only 24 points.

I pretty much had this one chalked up as an L when it was 24-7, with the way Mizzou's defense was playing.

That's so ASU. Have to go for a TD instead of a FG because you can't execute an extra point.

Well that figures. I don't think ASU has won a big game on the road in 15 years. At least they showed a little sack in the second half. They would have lost this one 44-7 last season.

I'm stunned Mizzou won that game. Just shows how much complex some of the things you see on Sunday really are. Mizzou had 2 bad snaps on field goals and ASU obviously shot themselves in the foot with the bad snap on the PAT. Then there was each team air mailing a snap on a punt. All and all an entertaining, albeit a bit sloppy game.
Now I'm stuck in traffic somewhere between St. Louis and Columbia because of what has to be an accident that I still can't see. Yippee!!!

I think that's the first time I've seen an aerial view of the campus. Looks nice.

It should be even better considering three of the richest people in the world either went there or are major donors.

Pretty good!
Honestly, though, I don't understand how Phil Knight can prop Oregon up but the Lauries and Stan Kroenke can't make Mizzou a first-rate everything.
