A split in L.A. isn't bad, but the Cardinals could have put the Dodgers in the rear view mirror permanently if they had held on to Saturday's game.
Pedro Alvarez has this year's Bud Norris Nemesis Award nailed down, but Luis Cruz has become a real pain in the neck.
