    2013 Is Over

    The Cubs have announced they will be "major players" in the 2013 free agent bidding and are expected to target Shaun Marcum, Anibal Sanchez and old friend Edwin Jackson.

    So they've spent the past year shedding their overpriced mediocre players so they can go out and overpay a new group of mediocre players?
    That's a sound strategy.
