As long as they stay in the park. 59 pitches through four is OK, but they can't get greedy with him.
I presume Lynn is unavailable today. Which is worrisome. The next two innings are crucial.

Inning by inning he is getting closer. Lets just hope Matheny doesnt blunder the bullpen around.

Carp got into that one. WTF?

Need to punch out Jackson here. Great start.

A slider well off the plate that Craig lunges after. Great

With the top of the order up and a 4-0 run lead? That's a bit conservative ...
... and they get nothing out of it.

Let Jackson off the hook, Craig should have jumped all over the 1st pitch ...

It wouldnt be a Card game without at least one stupid bunt. Hopefully matheny got it out of his system.

I guess with the 5th run , MM is going to try and get 6 out of Carp. Hope someone is tossing out there ....

May be pushing it sending Carpenter back out for the 6th. He's already thrown 89 pitches and several of those were in fairly high pressure situations. I hope someone is warming up.

They way he's been swinging today, they should try to get him another AB.

Hell of a bender there to get Werth ......

10 LOB through six for the Nashnils.

Hopefully we score more runs, but let's assume we don't. You let Rosenthal go back out there? Mujica, Boggs and Motte have been rode pretty hard the last month or so.

Good result from Holiday moving the runners over.

I think you can let Rosenthal have another batter or two, as soon as one reaches, go to the next guy.
Intentional walk, juiced. 1 out...
Please for the love of god don't strike out and don't hit the one ball I don't want to see....

I'm not watching it, but Bernie reported on Twitter that Rosenthal's sequence to Werth was 97, 97, 100 followed by an 82 mph curve. That's filthy.

bases loaded walk!!
