This removes Boggs from the game.  With two lefties due up for the Gaints, Blanco and Crawford plus whoever they pull off the bench to hit in the pitchers spot Matheny has a couple options.  He could go with Motte for a 6 out save being that the Cards are at the top of the lineup.  I doubt he does that.  He could go with Scrabble to face the lefties with Kelly warm in the pen.  Id do that.

In the regular season IKD but they just said games have to be completed no matter what in the playoffs.

That is true Fors and likely the best option.  I would still have Kelly getting warm out there.  First sign of trouble from Scrabble and Id yank his chain.  I dont know who the Gaints will use as a pinch hitter either.

I hope the game comes back on pretty soon if for no other reason than I can stop watching Fox's terrible programming. This X Factor thing with Britney Spears judging a bunch of kids is ridiculous. Don't you have to have talent yourself to discern it in others?

It's a really tight zone. When was the last time Lohse walked five guys in a game? OK, so they pitched around Posey twice, but he wasn't getting anything on the corners.
