Some of their behavior aside, I found it refreshing to watch SF play. Pitching and defense. Good bunting skills. Judicious use of a good bullpen. A team with good fundamentals that did nothing to beat itself. That's what I loved about the Cardinals years ago.

Adding insult to injury. Kudos to the Giants for finishing off the Tigers with flair! But if they really wanted to thumb their noses at the Tigers they should have just bat the pitcher.

So did I get this correct? A regular season football game beat the deciding game of the World Series in head to head competition on Sunday night???

Wouldn't surprise me. I doubt that anyone outside of Detroit and San Francisco cared much about the baseball game. Peyton Manning v. Drew Brees is quality NFL entertainment.
In the Forsberg household, we watched the football game, but only after the Amazing Race was over. We watch AR as a family, and it's one of the few reality shows I actually enjoy because I like seeing the various places to which they travel. Not sure if you watch it Max, but they recently spent two episodes in Indonesia. They were in Surabaya for one episode and Bangil in the other.

Me and the wife watch Survivor together. Really the only show we both watch. We have seen every season. It gets kind of old but I guess it is some kind of tradition now. I had no interest in the world series. Maybe I would have cared if Detroit had put forth effort. Hard to imagen many Tiger fans even caring with there team down 3 games let alone the rest of the world. the MLB needs to get over it. There are very few team I would have cared to watch. The league makes its money from having a 162 game season. They will never have the draw the super bowl does. Outside of the Cardinals the olny teams I would really watch in the world series would have been the Cubs, Reds and Brewers and that is to root against them. Well I might root for the Cubs. I dont hate them. They are not important enough to hate and honestly they are a classy team compared to the other two. I might have watched the Nationals to.

My wife and I watch Friends on DVD, either that of Dick Van Dyke show. Unless I am forgetting, I haven't gotten involved with a current TV series since Friends went off the air.
Surabaya is near the region my wife's mother's family. I haven't been there, but it is probably a big ugly overpopulated city . . . without the romantic appeal of Jakarta. By some measures, Java is the most overpopulated landmass on Earth. I think there are about 120 million people on an island about 70% the size of Missouri. I've never heard of Bangil.

Co-hero of Game 4.
Is "cohero" Spanish for "Son Of Lawn Gnome?"
Posiblimente, but some quick research reveals that "cogero" or "cojero" could be interpreted as either "catcher" or "fucker". Yeah.
