this piece actually hurts to read in places: trade chip?!? Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that trade chit? Supposably that's what he meant, anyway, . . . irregardless. Not that I want to throw insults around, but is it true this column is going to change its name to "Baseball for Dummies"?
Anyway, there's not much new in here, other than a few different scenarios that could bring Uggla here. No mention of what we would trade to get him, however.

Uggla is intriguing, but if they're already conceding that they can't resign him after 2011, I'm not sure that's a very good move. I'd prefer they take a chance on a free agent that didn't cost them players.

Never mind Uggla. He just got dealt to the Braves.

I'd love to have a copy of that picture Rasmus with his signature. Man that guy can really get up there. But where did that extra baseball come from?

Yes, that picture brought a smile to my eye, too. I wonder if Gordon forgot to put his glasses on before OK-ing that one. No wait, he was the guy talking about trading Rasmus, so I guess it makes sense.
