Monday Morning Coaching Executions

First Monday after the NFL regular season is naturally the best day to fire your head coach.  Already receiving the axe are:

Lovie Smith (Bears)
Andy Reid (Eagles)
Ken Whisenhunt (Cardinals)
Norv Turner (Chargers)
Romeo Crennel (Chiefs)
Chan Gailey (Bills)
Pat Shurmer (Browns)

At least 5 GMs also lost their job today.

Happy New Year

The only one that's even a mild surprise is Smith. What's the over/under on how many of those jobs Gruden will be the front-runner for? Three and a half? Four and a half?

Re: Monday Morning Coaching Executions

The best thing Gruden did was get out of the NFL.  If he is to take one of these job he should take the Bears.

I think the Cardinals did the right thing by hiring Ried.

Except it looks like Reid is taking the job with the Chiefs.

Re: Monday Morning Coaching Executions

Really I thought I heard he already signed with the cardinals.  I thought that would have been the best move.  he already knows the division.  The Chiefs aare going to suck.  They always do.  That is a bad place to coach.

"The Chiefs aare going to suck."

When you finished behind the Raiders, you really, really suck.

Didn't Rexy make a video of himself sniffing his wife's feet a couple of years ago? They have a strange relationship.

I understand that strange relationship.  It is involving Sanchez that wierds me out.
