Johan Santana is all messed up and he's not going to pitch, maybe ever again. 

Going into his no-hitter against St. Louis, Santana had a 2.75 ERA and struck out 60 batters to 16 walks in 59 innings with four home runs allowed.

After that, he pitched 49 innings and gave up 13 homers with an 8.27 ERA.

I don't think Santana is done because of that game, but it certainly didn't help. And now they probably want to go back in time and have Beltran's foul called correctly.

Wouldn't it be the damndest thing if Carlos Beltran screwed them for years to come? That would bring me a lot of joy. Not joy for Santana being injured, but joy for the Mets going down the tubes for 10 years.
