"If I had to guess, I'd say Loria isn't paying him a dime."

It's very unfair of you to disparage a fine human being such as Mr. Loris.

When this team hits, it hits.

I cannot believe the Kozma hit that big of a homerun. Goodness that was ridiculous.

Why Rosenthal with a five run lead?

Because it's a much more high leverage situation than the 2 run deficit they handed Salas last night.

This is why I felt Rosenthal would be better served starting in Memphis.

13 pitches, 13 fastballs clocked between 97-100 mph.

And I'm fine with that if he's pitching in key spots. But not in the 8th inning of a 5 run game.

You sneaking a few peaks at Giants/Dodgers? Bumgarner is mowing down the Dodgers. That ought to make his fantasy owners happy.

I've been back and forth. Bumgarner's been nails. You want a recipe for pitching success. Thru 8 innings, Bumgarner has thrown 1st pitch strikes to 23 of 26 hitters.

2 starts into the fantasy season, I've got an ERA of 0.56 and a WHIP of 0.43. I'm thinking those numbers may not be sustainable.

jay turned on his pretty good to.  Both shots looked like much bigger men should have hit them.  When was the last time a cardinals ss could hit the ball that far?  Renteria?  Not that i am extremely excited about kozma, i am just say.

He was crazy good.  The hitters looked dumbfounded.  I dont think anyone even took a good swing.  Idk what role the cardinals will use him in but he was wasted last night.  He needs to be used in much bigger situations.  I agree with whoevers idea it was that he should have been used last night.  This bullpen could be really good if motte comes back healthy.  I am doubting he does tho.  With fhe way boggs has been pitch and mucjia the pen could lock down the last three innings of every game with or without motte.  that could be huge with younger starters.  Salas need to be thd mop up guy, no questions asked.  i dont really have a problem with rosenthal in the pen.  Matheny is limely going to over use these guys and having 4 or 5 solid adms to go to might help him spread out the innings.

I wisely left Michael Morse on my bench this week.

"When was the last time a cardinals ss could hit the ball that far?"

Garry Templeton could hit the ball 800 feet from either side of the plate. I still think the jury is out on that trade.

Another benefit to our league not having a bench is not being able to make those type of mistakes.

Re: 4/2 Gamecrap

"Idk what role the cardinals will use him in but he was wasted last night."

He and Boggs probably hadn't pitched in a few days. And they were both limited enough last night that they can pitch tonight and then there's an off-day on Thursday.
