So someone in the dugout needs to tell the Cardinals to spit at Latos' breaking pitch because he hasn't come close to throwing it for a strike.

Great job by Holliday to rack up Tattoo's pitch count. 

Molina is damn lazy at blocking balls. 

I might be imagining it, but it seems like Garcia is hurt by weak contact more than any other pitcher. 

Why do Cardinals pitchers hit batters in key situations?

If Rosie throws anything but fastballs to Izturis I'm going to come unglued.

Fly balls aren't carrying for the Cardinals today. 

Two things before I have to run off for supper:

1. The Reds are a really, really good team and the talent level between these two teams is glaring. Cincinnati has the better player everywhere on the diamond but catcher and left field. Latos was burned by his defense but otherwise pitched oustanding. 

2. Motte made me nervous, but I think we're going to miss him. 

What the hell happened? I went into a meeting and the Cardinals were ahead, 3-2, and when I came out 90 minutes later it was 13-4.
You could have made a lot of money in Vegas betting the same team would be involved in 9-run innings on consecutive days.
