According to ESPN's website, it's Westbrook v. Burnett.

Interesting that Shano is getting the start over Jay against a righty. Got get 'em, Shano. Strasburg throws pus.

Lucky break on the ball popping out. Ive seen carp try to take that extra base before when he really shouldnt have. I think he needs to be the leadoff batter more often tho.

Odd flippimg craig and beltran in the order.

This is about the best you can expect against Strasburg. Great start.

Good to get a couple of runs early, because they may be scarce late ...

He did that last night. I think he's trying to get Beltran up with men on base while Beltran is hot.

Dirty Dan is so overmatched it's not funny.
Excellent! Thanks, Rendon.

Luck has been on the cards side today.

OK, so what happened there? Bad throw from Rendon to second?

delscalso starting is more proof there is no reason to have wiggington. He cant serve as a backup for second or third. He cant even hit.

104, pull the second baseman off the bag.
2 extra outs were given to the cards that inning. Carp should have been out at second but the ball popped out and then the error mentioned above. Maybe baseball is giving the nats some payback for recieving all those dp last night.

Good start for Garcia.

Goddammit, Matt Carpenter. Why the hell is this team so brain-dead when it comes to running the bases?

Did Garcia lose it that quickly or did Garcia get an early hook?

MLB.com clocked one of Kelly's pitches to Rendon at 99 mph. Really?

He could've kept going. Kind of an early hook.
