David Freese's performance in Game Six was only No. 4 on ESPN's list of "Best Game Six Performances."
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Carpenter just keeps raking.

Might have to think about platooning Craig and Adams...

One of the more unimpressive 6-run innings you'll ever see?

I can't remember No. 2 and No. 3 but No. 1 was Schilling in '04.

Yeah. If the Cardinals were a football team they'd be Alex Smith dinking and dunking his way down the field.

Somone must be getting on Peralta because he keeps looking into the Cardinals' dugout.

I don't suppose John Tudor shutting out the Giants for eight innings in the '87 NLCS was on there ...

This game ain't over.

Huge double play.

Boggs??

Matheny has his head up his ass.

This is fucking ridiculous.

Yeah. We used to lament that Larussa was to loyal to undeserving players. Matheny running Boggs out in that situation was criminally stupid.
And I'm fucking tired of Daniel Descalso. He's a bench player, not an everyday player. If Freese can't play regularly enough, then Wong needs to be called up.

I've been paying attention off and on since the fourth inning...what exactly is Boggs showing Matheny that makes him think he should've been in that game?
Offline
Now how the hell did he hit that?
Offline
Quick, someone ask Lucroy if that splitter was straight as an arrow.
Offline
Geez-us. I think I've been holding my breath since the sixth inning.

"And I'm fucking tired of Daniel Descalso."
Shannon of all people made an observation yesterday that when he drops to a knee to field a groundball, trouble ensues. He did it again tonight.

You can kind of defend Kelly and Rosenthal because of the defensive lapses behind them, but Boggs is in outer space somewhere.

Sounds like Boggs is going down.

Gammons is reporting he's headed for Memphis, but I'm going to wait for confirmation from a reliable source. The P-D is suggesting Gast will be called up, but why? To be Maness' bridge partner?
