Tyler Lyons gets the start on Wednesday. Possibility that one of the bullpen arms goes to Memphis to get stretched out for the rotation.
Lyons is pretty bland.

I'm already missing Westbrook.

Huh? Another sentence that has never been spoken before to go along with:
As soon as I ram this hot poker up my ass, I'll cut my dick off.

Mujica is a construction-grade pop rivet.
And in other news, Chapman gave up back-to-back homers to lose one for TTTIB.

Why isn't Wacha coming up?
Nice win today. No idea why Lohse threw a nutty.

TTTIB might need to trade for a real closer.

Bernie speculating they don't want to start his service time clock.

Getting him used to a 5-man rotation and not wanting to give him stressful innings. My uneducated guess says he's up by the All-Star break.

Yeah, it's not like the FO needs to panic. A share of the best record in baseball and a 2.5 game lead on the second and third best records in the NL.

That's the lamest excuse in baseball.
I would have rather had them think that Kelly might be worth a shot because he pitched pretty well as a starter last year and he's obviously going to have a very short career if he continues to work out of the bullpen.

Go back and watch the broadcast. Just after the squeeze bunt, slow the recording down to 1/4 speed and you can clearly hear Oquenda say, "Your mother sews socks that smell."

Excellent classic SNL reference. Is that the same episode with Chevy Chase interviewing Richard Pryor for a job?

Sorry. There are so many great Carlin quotes it's hard to keep them all in my head. My favorite one is about the time when he's at a party speaking over the music, and the song ends suddenly just as he loudly utters "... and I just had my testicles laminated ..."

That combination of words has never been spoken before.
