Wainwright better be brilliant.

Sort of feels like neither these teams wants to play this game.
Geez-us, I thought Bumgarner just hit one out.

Yeah they feel disinterested. Or maybe i am disinterested in watching the b team play behind the team ace.

I think calling it the B lineup is being kind. On the other hand, with Holliday, Craig, Carpenter and Adams not starting, we've got an awesome bench.

Wainwright showed up for work today.

Wow. That's the correct call, but not one you see an umpire make that often when the ball beats the runner by that much.

Expecting major league players to play 2 games in one day might be asking a bit much.

Inning completely changed because Wainwright couldn't get the bunt down. Unreal.

Funny isn't it. Few weekends back, Bob's team played in a tournament and played 4 games in about 10 hours.

Honestly, i dont think as a fan i would want to sit through a doubleheader. One game is enough imo.

That and the inning before beltran's lazyness paid off. He played the ball off the wall perfect. I wish artie could have seen it.

Unless you had tickets to both games, you wouldn't be able to, but I agree with what your saying. Especially these day-night double headers where there's 3 hours between games.

Even if it was the old days of back to back games i wouldnt do it. 6hrs of baseball is to much.

Another memory from my youth is the back-to-back doubleheader, where the fan paid for one game and got admission to both.

I like yadi in the 2 spot. I am starting to think he needs to be there everyday.
