Was hoping for a postponement. I have a feeling this one goes down as a loss.

Keeping track on line only, but it looks like both pitchers are dominant. Congrats to Waino on his 1,000th career strikeout - looking, on a nasty curveball. The Mets have seen that one before.

There's your run, Waino. Make it stand up.

Odd that it's wetter here right now than Richard Nixon's upper lip during a debate. Our weather usually a few hours behind NYC's.

Well, they got through Harvey with the lead. Now let's hope it holds up.

"The Mets have seen that one before."
Think Beltran experiences some form of PTSD flashback everytime he sees that pitch?

What the hell is going on?

Yeah, that wasn't a pretty 9th inning, but it's a win and another series win.
Now onto Miami

Watching the TTTIB/Soriano Dynasty game in the top of the 14th at Wrigley.
There's a guy in the second row behind home plate wearing a Tampa Bay Rays jersey and a matching cap. Why?

Former. Our esteemed 37th President has been a punchline in my famly for three generations. My dad thinks the funniest movie scene he's ever seen is the part in "Where the Buffalo Roam" when Bill Murray's Hunter S. Thompson yells "Nixon!!!" at his doberman and the dog attacks the groin area of the mannequin with the Tricky Dick mask.

he is watching the reds and cubs. A rooting preferance of the rays isnt a bad option.

It's my own fault for still watching BBTN, but Kruk and Schilling spent about five minutes tonight gushing over the losing pitcher in today's Cardinals/Mets game.
Oh and by the way a guy who's less than 16 months removed from TJ surgery won his league-leading 10th game for the team with the best record in the majors.

The TJ guy could be CY material....
