Mujica is starting to resemble scotch tape more than nails these days. My new fear is that he's gained so much of Matheny's trust that if/when he implodes, Matheny now has too much loyalty to pull the plug.

I don't think it's been mentioned, but how about getting a 3 game set with the Phillies and missing both Hamels and Lee. Sometimes timing is everything.

Ryan Franklin, Part II? He's leaving his cutter up. I don't know if that adage about sinkerball pitcher being better when they're a little tired applies to guys who throw a cutter, but it seems like he's more effective when he throws every day.
And I hope MM has learned by now he can't push Rosenthal beyond one inning. It seems like he's good for about 20 pitches, then bad shit starts to happen.
