According to Idiot Sidekick, Allen Craig can't hit breaking pitches.
I really miss Dan and Al ...

They got you 4 , Miller go out there and defend it ..

Changeup looks pretty good tonight. I was a little concerned about his fastball velocity until he blew that 95 mph heater past Bruce to end the inning.

Craig getting back with the program....
Good to see
Now if Carpenter will get it together ...

Nice move, Dusty. Leave Arroyo in there to give up a scalding single to a guy who's already doubled off him twice and then take him out of the game.

At least we don't have to hear "The Cardinals don't hit home runs ..." from the wiseguys tonight.

Hey Dusty. How's your night going?

Can you pen another Dear Mike letter asking that Descalso play instead of Kozma?
Thx

It's OK to get Beltran out of the game in the bottom of the fifth. He's probably exhausted from running around the bases.

The court order limits me to one letter per week to the Cardinals' manager.

I was looking for an excuse to bring this up: Andy Van Slyke was pissing and moaning about Strauss's column today questioning Matheny for pushing Molina. He said that only Matheny and Molina know how much Molina's body can take, and that Matheny had to respect Molina's wishes when he asked to be in the lineup. This only reaffirmed that Van Slyke is one of the dumbest humans I've ever heard talk about baseball. Matheny is the manager for chrissakes. If he tells Molina he's sitting then Molina will sit. But I should totally tell my boss that I don't feel like coming in on Monday. I'm sure he'll understand and respect my wishes.

The only regrettable part of all this is Brennaman's mentally-retarded offspring isn't in Cincinnati to witness it.

ROTFLMAO!!! Fireworks when the Reds hit a homer to cut the Cardinals' lead to nine.
