Anyone else think putting kelly back in the pen would be a mistake?

Me. I picked him up for my fantasy team last week, and I only have one roster move left.
I'm also almost ashamed to admit that as a replacement for Nelson Cruz I picked up Brett Wallace--who promptly homered tonight.

Welcome aboard the Brett Wallace Bandwagon, my friend. No pushing. Plenty of seats available.

It was probably a hair outside, but Crawford should have been called out on principle for taking that 2-2 pitch.

Asking more than three outs from Rosenthal tends to be problematic. Hope it works out here ...

nice move imo tho. He is well rested and seeking him for 4 outs was smart. Best option.

Dear Mr. Puig,
Allow me to introduce you to Trevor Rosenthal's fastball. Pretty sure you heard it, but I don't think you actually saw it.
Sincerely,
Cardinals fans

I wouldn't mind another run or two for Muiica. He hasn't had a save opportunity in a week and a half.

Oh I agree you have to make the move. You can't let Mark Ellis drive in the tying run off the lefty when you've got Rosenthal hot. I was just worried about the back end with two lefties and Puig coming up in the eighth.

I was going to post that Al and Ricky are still going on about that. Was it that dumb a move?

Not as dumb as putting the titanic on auto pilot.

Harkening to our recent discussion about pork and referencing the Subway commercial that was on between innings, I've never been partial to the pulled variety. Pulled pork is kind of the porcine version of beef brisket, and I loathe beef brisket.
