Cardinals will start Michael Wacha on Saturday. That pushes rotation back so Adam Wainwright opens Pirates series.----Langosch

Cardinals are adding Wacha to the mix to push back a few starters, get Westbrook added rest, create modified six-man rotation. Rotation vs Cubs will be Lynn, Wacha and Kelly.----Goold

I hope people realize that while Wacha and Martinez have bright futures, they are nowhere near ready to contribute at a high level. And by people I mean management.

I missed the game. I was too involved with drowning my sorrows after my basketball team blew a 13-point lead in a game we had to win to avoid being eliminated from the playoffs.
