I don't care that it benefitted the Cardinals. Phil Cuzzi is terrible.

the bat barely left the shoulder..lol
I am ready for replay. I like how it was described. What did they say? 1 replay in the first 6 and 2 in the last innings. I like that and i dont care what it applies to. I would be fine with balls and stikes as well. If a manager wants to make a replay worth getting a ball/strike call overturned then so be it.

That was maybe the worst call I've seen from a major league umpire since the '85 World Series. Murphy didn't even come close to swinging. And then Cuzzi throws out Sveum. I have no idea how Phil Cuzzi still has a job.

i assume this is a question you dont expect to be answered? A rhetorical...it is pretty clear the umps work formthe league in the best interest of the league. Maybe not the check swing call but thE reason he still has a job. The league doesnt turn on one of its own.

So apparently you can injure players if it's Alex Rodriguez. Dirty or not, that's crossing the line.

It wasn't a question. It was a series of statements.

From what I've gleaned, Rodriguez told other players about Biogenesis, named names because it might tend toward his leniency, and then appealed his own suspension. If he's a pariah, he's brought it on himself.
Alex Rodriguez is the worst person who's played professional baseball since Hal Chase.

I agree that he crossed the line with players, but I'm not sure that it warrants being thrown at in the manner Dempster did. And how fans could possibly care about an issue that is solely between the players is over my head. Why in the world should I care that A-Rod sacrificed Ryan Braun?

"And how fans could possibly care about an issue that is solely between the players is over my head."
Rodriguez has been hated in Boston ever since the Red Sox almost acquired him and then he ended up going to the Yankees instead. Then there was the fight with Jason Varitek, who was kind of Boston's Yadi Molina. Red Sox fans have come around to respect Jeter and Rivera as worthy foes, but ARod will never be afforded the same mentality.
