That's a terrible Brewers lineup. They'll win 6-2.

I was all for the Cardinals bringing Beltran back, but one home run since June (including zero in July) makes me think it's time to walk away. The guy just doesn't have enough juice for a whole season.

Miller shouldn't have walked the pitcher, but I'm not sure if Jay could've made a worse throw.

That ain't funny. When all the Biogenesis stuff broke, and it seemed to have a lot of connections to the University of Miami, I was kind of worried Jay's name might end up on a list.

They can't lose to a team with a guy in the lineup who lets people call him "Scooter." They just can't.

Wong ran from 1st base to 2nd base during a pitch. Is that legal? I do t think I've seen that before.

Rec.
Once upon a time, the Cardinals were known for doing that. With some success.

Does Wacha know someone in the first row? Was he trying to give away a souvenir?
I don't like this, BTW. Wacha isn't built for what they're asking him to do. Maness would have been a better option.

Again, this one is on the manager. Wacha has no business pitching out of the bullpen. I doubt he's ever come into a competitive game in the 7th inning in his life.

Eh. The Cardinals thre Rosenthal into the fire last year, and Wacha's stuff as a reliever is overpowering. The biggest mistake is taking Holliday out of this game.

If he fucking bunts here, I'm going to scream.

"The biggest mistake is taking Holliday out of this game."
And Maness isn't available to hit.

He should have had Jay bunt.

Shift this, Roenicke.

Nice managing. He lets Kuntzler face five lefties in a row when he's got Mike Gonzalez available, then he takes him out when Freese is announced.

Just like Matheny drew it up

Offense may bail MM out with this 2 out rally ; but there still time for him to muck it up again...
