Not sure if you're serious or not, but didn't Wagner play at a time when numbers were more indicative of position in the field? Shouldn't he have been #6?According to the Pirates' broadcasters, he never wore a number as a player, but he later wore #33 as a coach, so that was the number that was retired. I guess Morneau requested #33 and the Pirates told him it was retired, so he's eventually going to switch to #66.
See how much you can learn watching Pirate broadcasts.
It was a rare moment of insight. They're not loud, obnoxious and hate everything about the Cardinals like the idiots in Cincinnati, but they spend far too much time wasting oxygen with comments like "The Pirates need to get the bats going ..." What I'd find far more informative from a major league pitcher with Bob Walk's experience is an explanation why the Pirates haven't gotten the bats going so far. And it's not to say Horton and Hrabosky are Woodward and Bernstein of professional baseball analysts, but Horton at least tries to sneak in some topical commentary every other inning or so.

Did anyone else just see Miller trying to feel up Wainwright in the dugout?

I think Kelly thinks he can hit.
He follows Kozma, so his frame of reference may be a tad skewed.
Rec. And that scalding single to right did start a rally, so there.

Kozma has 80 hits for the season. With that last strikeout he now has 377 at bats. He's got a 23 at bat cushion before he falls below .200.

How much of a dipshit do you feel like when you to bring a broom to a game then have to carry it home after the team you root for fails to sweep a series?

Wouldn't this have been a good opportunity to get Axford another inning?

Nah, perfect opportunity to pitch Mujica. He hasn't had enough work this season.
