I officially hate Mike Matheny.

Give Idiot Sidekick credit for noticing the Reds have been aggressive early in the count in these last two games against Wainwright. It's much easier to not have to worry about that curveball with two strikes if you don't let the count get to two strikes.

is he this dumb or does he just not have the balls to control his start?

I'd call it stubbornness. Matheny is convinced his way is the right way and he refuses to deviate from that. Tough to expect much less from a guy who wrote. 6 page "manifesto" to tell parents how to behave at their kids' ball games.

there is no reason to leave wainwright in. The game was out of hand. The bullpen was rested with more then enough pitchers. Clearly wainwright could have used a night with less then 100 pitches.

If there's one thing I'm exhausted of hearing its that there's no good options to replace Kozma. Bullshit. At this point any of us are an upgrade.

I don't really have the range for shortstop. But put me in the batting order for a month and I bet I can get hit by a pitch at least three times.

I won't have to reach as far down as Fielder is reaching in this photo to make an adjustment to my cup. I guess that stereotype is true.
